Bernhard Nauck

Bernhard Nauck (born August 27, 1945 in Hildesheim ) is a German sociologist and professor at the TU Chemnitz , where he teaches family sociology, sociological theory and social structure analysis.

After successfully completing his studies, Nauck worked as a research assistant at the Rhineland University of Education and the Universities of Oldenburg and Bonn. Between 1985 and 1992 he held several full professorships, including at the University of Cologne . Since 1992 he has held the chair for "General Sociology I" at the TU Chemnitz . In addition, Nauck is a prominent member of various bodies (e.g. the Council for Migration, the Committee on Family Research ).
