Bernhard Rübenach

Bernhard Rübenach (born May 4, 1927 in Koblenz ) is a German radio journalist, radio author and radio director.

Life

Rübenach came to Südwestfunk in 1950 and was head of radio drama from 1960 to 1965, head of the culture department from 1965 to 1969, head of programming for the 2nd radio program from 1970 to 1980, and from 1981 head of culture / radio. 1958 to 1962 he was a guest lecturer for broadcast theory at the Ulm School of Design . Rübenach is editor of “Encounters with Judaism” (1981); he wrote articles for radio programs, series and radio play adaptations, translations, radio play direction, radio theory, prose and poetry in anthologies and magazines. From 1984 to 1990 Rübenach was a member of the jury for the Peter Huchel Prize .
