Bernhard Reiser

Bernhard Reiser (born January 23, 1966 in Illertissen ) is a German chef .

After his apprenticeship and his work as a cook in the officers' mess in Lagerlechfeld , he worked from 1989 as Chef de Partie and Souschef in the Romantik Hotel Augsburger Hof. After further stations and the master chef examination, he became head chef at "Schloss Solitude" in Stuttgart in 1993. Also in 1993 he switched to the "Bosshotel" in Metzingen as head chef. From 1994 to 1995 he worked as a kitchen consultant for the Hänisch Palace and City Hotels at Solitude Palace, Monrepos Palace and Cecilienhof Palace. Reiser has dealt with different types of diet over the years, such as monastery kitchens , Ayurvedic and Mediterranean cuisine . He is a lecturer for the “Food Management” course at DHBW Mosbach, Bad Mergentheim campus for the subject combination “Sports and Nutritional Sciences” and in “Reiser's Cooking School” he also dedicates himself to the health aspect of food. In February 2010, Bernhard Reiser was awarded the “Warsteiner Prize - the German Gastronomy Prize 2009” in the “Food” category.

Since April 2010 he has been the nutrition coach of the German women's national soccer team . Since 2013 he has had his own cooking show “Ask the traveler”.
