Bernhard Rozic

Bernhard Rozic (born February 4, 1976 ) is a former German American football player.

career

Rozic won the German championship with the Hamburg Blue Devils in 1996 and the Eurobowl in 1996 and 1997 . In 1998 he joined the Cologne Crocodiles together with trainer Kirk Heidelberg and other Hamburg players . After a year in the Rhineland, Rozic, a 1.90 meter tall defender , came back to Hamburg. Until the end of his playing time with the Blue Devils in 2003, he was three times German champion with the team (2001, 2002, 2003). Between April and June Rozic also took part in NFL Europe games and was under contract there in 2001 and in parts of the 2002 season with the Amsterdam Admirals and in parts of the 2002 game year with Rhein Fire .

With Germany's national team, Rozic was in the final at the 2000 European Championship, but lost the match against Finland in Hamburg at 29:30.

As a coach, Rozic worked for the Blue Devils in the GFL  on the staff of head coach Maximilian von Garnier , his former teammate, and headed the defensive line there. Professionally, he worked in Hamburg as managing director of a sports studio.
