Bernhard Schlick

Bernhard Schlick (born December 31, 1841 in Heinrichswalde ; † January 21, 1909 in Adlig Crottingen , Memel district ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Bernhard Schlick was the eldest son of the administrative lawyer Carl Julius Schlick and his wife Julianne Luise Mariane, nee. Sparrowhawk. He attended the secondary school in Memel and the Agricultural Academy in Möglin . He was a member of the district council and the district committee in the Memel district. He took part in the war of 1866 in regiment 41 and in the war of 1870/71 as a reserve officer in what was then the Kronprinz regiment (East Prussian No. 1). After the death of his father in 1874, he took over the parental estate Adlig (German) Crottingen , whose local office in today's Lithuania (in the district of Kretingalė ) is called Šlikiai after his family name.

From July 1891 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Reichstag electoral district of Koenigsberg 1 and the German Conservative Party . Remaining single, he died at the age of 67 on his estate.
