Max Krause (politician)

Karl Albert Max Krause (born July 15, 1859 in Dawillen near Memel, † April 19, 1934 in Berlin-Lichterfelde ) was a German farmer and landowner and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Krause attended high schools in Memel , Königsberg and Berlin from 1866 to 1876 (Kölnisches Gymnasium, 1869-1875). After leaving school, he devoted himself to agriculture in various estates in the province of East Prussia and from 1887 was the landowner in Dawillen. He was also captain of the reserve of the Infantry Regiment von Boyen (5th East Prussian) No. 41. From 1890 he was head of office, registrar and district council member for the Dawillen district. He was also a member of the advisory board of the agricultural loan funds for the province of East Prussia. He was the holder of the Landwehr service award 1st and 2nd class .

From 1898 to 1908 Krause was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1903 to 1907 a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Reichstag constituency of Königsberg 1 ) and the German Conservative Party .
