Bernhard Simmelbauer
Bernhard Simmelbauer (born June 20, 1963 in Mühldorf am Inn ) is a former German gymnast .
Simmelbauer started for Bayern Munich and took 1984 and 1988 as a member of the German national team at the Olympics and in 1985 at the World Cup in part in Montreal. In Los Angeles, the team of the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) achieved fourth place in the all-around competition, the best result for 32 years.
In 1986 and 1987 he was German champion on parallel bars and in 1987 vice champion on pommel horse .
Simmelbauer studied human medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and now runs a practice for sports medicine in Stuttgart.
