The Berrnabbane ( Norwegian for bare rocky outcrops ) are cliffs on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . They are located on the south-eastern edge of the Djupvika , a side bay in the south-western section of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them using aerial photographs taken as part of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
