Bertheid, abbess in Münster, († December 22, 1042 in Münster ). Bertheid was a sister of Bishop Hermann I of Münster . He founded the Liebfrauenkirche, consecrated it in 1040 in the presence of King Heinrich III. and incorporated a canonical monastery into it, which, under the direction of Bertheid, became a training center for noble women. She died in a reputation for holiness.
