Berthold Gockell

Berthold Gockell (* 1927 ; † July 29, 2006 in Braunschweig ) was a German architect and university professor .

Life

Berthold Gockell began his scientific career in 1949 with a degree in architecture and a subsequent doctorate in engineering. at the Technical University of Darmstadt . On December 7, 1965, he was appointed full professor for technical construction at the Technical University of Carolo-Wilhelmina in Braunschweig . He also led regular courses on the subject at the University of Innsbruck. During his many years at the Technical University of Braunschweig he was dean of the Faculty of Construction from 1977 to 1980 .

After his retirement on September 30, 1992, he continued to belong to the Institute for Building and Solar Technology at the Technical University of Braunschweig.
