The vocational training centers of the Bavarian economy (bfz) non-profit GmbH is a provider of services in the field of vocational training , advice and integration. As a business-related organization, the bfz maintains contacts and cooperations with companies, institutions and associations. The bfz is represented at 24 locations across Bavaria with over 150 training locations and employs over 2,000 people.

Company history

The bfz was founded in 1983 as an education provider. In 1987, the bfz was the first provider to carry out outpatient measures for vocational rehabilitation. In 1995 the bfz took over 90 percent of the business training academy (FAW) non-profit GmbH.

The bfz participates in the transnational European community programs Force, Eurotecnet, Now, Comett and Helios and has built partnerships with educational institutions in Belgium, England, France, Italy and Portugal.

Business areas

Business areas include vocational preparation and training offers for young people, support during training, professional rehabilitation / participation in working life, professional training for job seekers, further training offers for private and corporate customers, language and integration offers for people with a migration background .

Certification

The bfz is certified according to the new Accreditation and Licensing Ordinance for Employment Promotion (AZAV) as a provider of measures. With the reform of the labor market policy instruments, this new admission standard also came into force in April 2012. All companies that offer services, for example for the new "activation and placement voucher", must meet this requirement.

Gender mainstreaming

The bfz has committed itself to the principle of gender mainstreaming . The proportion of women is over 60 percent, almost 50 percent of managers are women. In 2013, the bfz was once again awarded the “ Total E Quality Award” for its services in the field of equal opportunities .
