Berxen is a district of the Bruchhausen-Vilsen area in the Diepholz district in Lower Saxony . The place is west of the core area of ​​Bruchhausen-Vilsen.

Berxen has a train station on the Syke-Eystrup railway line . Today this route is only used for tourist traffic ( see also Hoya County Public Transport ).

On March 1, 1974, Berxen was incorporated into Bruchhausen-Vilsen together with the previously independent towns of Homfeld and Wöpse .
