The Bērze is a river in western Latvia .

The upper reaches of the river are winding and have steep banks. Above Biksti, the Zušupite supplies the water from Lake Zebrus . There is a dam wall at the former Annenieki hydroelectric power station. In the past, the wort flowed straight into the magnifying glass . Since a canal was built at the beginning of the 19th century, the river has been channeled into the Svēte .

The largest tributaries are Sesava and Bikstupe , the largest places on the bank are Zebrene , Biksti , Kaķenieki , Annenieki , Dobele , Bērze and Līvbērze .
