Occupy (clothing)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In men's clothing, occupation is understood to mean strips made of outer fabric , which serve to improve the appearance of those areas on the lined garment that are not visible when worn closed, but can easily peek out when opened.

These are the front edges, the inside of the slits, the pockets and the sleeve ends in jackets , costumes and other things. Trimmings are always trimmed at the sleeve ends and must be sufficiently wide so that the sleeve can be extended if necessary.
