Beskan

Beskan or Bezikan is the name of a historical Kurdish tribe in Eastern Anatolia . In the Scheref name this tribe is called Pazukan.

The pazooka tribe (Pazukan) were loud Scherefname one of the most influential tribes of Kurdistan . According to the same source, they are descendants of the Suwaidi tribe (see: Siverek ). They played an important role especially among the Kizilbasch . The history of the autonomous principality of Beskan (Pazukan) is detailed by Scherefkhan. Most of this tribe migrated to Iran after the defeat of the Kizilbash, with whom they were closely allied . Today they mainly live in the provinces of Tehran (the city of Varamin ) and Semnan . Some of them are Turkish and speak the Azerbaijani language .
