The house at Bessunger Straße 26 is a building in Darmstadt-Bessungen .
History and description
The two-and-a-half-storey, gabled half-timbered house was built in the 18th century. The house has a constructive half-timbered structure and a beaver-tail-covered hipped mansard roof . Today the facade is plastered . The building stands in an exposed position at the confluence of Bessunger Strasse and Jahnstrasse.
Varia
The former corner building at Bessunger Strasse 28 (“Zum Ochsen” inn) also stood on the site. This building no longer exists today.
Monument protection
For architectural and city-historical reasons, the building is a listed building .
