The residential building Bessunger Straße 75 is a listed building in the Bessungen district of the southern Hessian city of Darmstadt .
Architecture and history
The one and a half story half- timbered house was built in the 18th century. The gable-facing house has a hipped mansard roof with beaver tail covering . The house has lattice windows . The facade of the otherwise largely intact house was subsequently disrupted by a cladding made from a different material.
Monument protection
The half-timbered house has a space-defining effect on the corner of Bessunger Strasse / Eichwiesenstrasse and the Forstmeisterplatz. For architectural, architectural and city-historical reasons, the half-timbered house has the status of a monument according to the Hessian Monument Protection Act .
