Best of European Business
Best of European Business (BEB) was a competition held annually by Roland Berger Strategy Consultants from 2005 to 2013 .
idea
The idea of the Best of European Business is to recognize top European companies and managers for particularly successful business and management. The award honors European entrepreneurs with exemplary character in the categories of growth , value creation, innovation and strategy . Every year the BEB focuses on a specific topic. In 2011, German companies with a focus on the markets of the ASEAN countries were awarded. In 2012, companies were awarded under the motto Success in Africa . The award ceremony is not only intended to honor successful companies and managers, but also to draw attention to the strengths of the European economy.
Initiator & jury
The BEB was initiated by Burkhard Schwenker , Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. The Best of European Business Award is given in numerous European countries by managers from successful corporations. The jurors included top managers such as Jürgen Großmann ( RWE ), Lord Browne of Madingley (BP), Jean-Cyril Spinetta ( Air France ) and Daniel Vasella (Novartis). Numerous national and international partners from the fields of media and science support the Best of European Business Award.
