The company health insurance company BPW Bergischeachsen KG (BKK BPW for short) is a closed company health insurance fund based in Wiehl . Membership is possible for all employees and former employees of BPW Bergischeachse KG and their family members.

Contribution rates

Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator. The additional contribution has been 1.1% since 2016.

history

On August 7, 1918, as a representative of the sponsoring company, Mr. Gustav Friedrich Kotz applied to the responsible Gummersbach Insurance Office to set up a separate company health insurance fund for the company's employees. On April 5, 1919, the BKK began its work as the company health insurance fund for the Bergische Axis factory Fr. Kotz & Sons.
