Betsy Russell (born September 6, 1963 in San Diego , California ) is an American actress . She became known for roles in various B-movies in the 1980s and as Jill Tuck in the US horror thriller series Saw .

biography

Betsy Russell was born in San Diego. She gained her first acting experience in theater and acting groups at her high school. After graduating from Mission Bay Senior High School in 1981, she moved to Los Angeles . There she worked as a waitress and took acting classes.

Betsy Russell had her first major role in the 1982 film Let's Do It! and in the series Familienbande and TJ Hooker . Her breakthrough came in the comedy Private School - Die Superanmacher . She then got several roles in mostly less commercially successful B-movie productions. She also appeared in guest appearances in the television series The A-Team and Murder is Her Hobby . After taking several years off acting, she made her comeback in the horror films Saw III , Saw IV , Saw V , Saw VI and Saw 3D as Jill Tuck .

She was married to Vincent Van Patten from 1989 to 2005 . She has two children.
