Label history
It was founded in 1999 by Paul Fischer, then a DJ at the KXLU radio station at the University of Los Angeles and an employee of crank! Records , and Dave Brown, who ran a fan magazine. The label grew over the years and was able to sign some of today's very well-known acts. Today Better Looking is part of the EastWest Records , a large label family in the USA.
