Bettina Biskupek-Korell

Bettina Biskupek-Korell (born March 25, 1966 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German agricultural scientist and professor of bioprocess engineering .

Life

Biskupek-Korell studied agricultural sciences from 1985 to 1991 at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen , where she also received her doctorate in 1993. She then worked for the Board of Trustees for Technology and Construction in Agriculture until 1998. V. in Darmstadt . Since 1998 she has been professor for the production of renewable raw materials at the University of Hanover .

Biskupek-Korell conducts research in the field of plant biotechnology and plant raw materials. In 2008 she received the Lower Saxony Science Prize for her work .
