Bettina Oppermann
Bettina Oppermann (* 1960 ) is a German environmental and open space planner and has been a professor for open space policy and planning communication at Leibniz Universität Hannover since 2002 .
academic career
Bettina Oppermann studied land maintenance at the Technical University of Munich from 1981 to 1988 . From 1989 to 1994 she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Landscape Planning and Ecology at the University of Stuttgart and from 1994 to 1999 at the Academy for Technology Assessment in Baden-Württemberg. In 1999 she completed her doctorate at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart on the subject of cooperative and community-based projects as new instruments for implementation-oriented environmental and landscape planning . Since 2002 Oppermann has been professor for the field of open space policy and planning communication in the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape at Leibniz University Hannover.
