Beverley Harper

Beverley Harper (born 1941 in New South Wales (Australia), † 2002 in Beverly Hills ) was an Australian author.

She traveled to Africa in 1967 at the age of 26 , where she wanted to stay for a year. That turned out to be almost 20 years. Her books are very successful in the English-speaking world.

She taught herself to write. She began a course she took for professional writers, but never completed it.

She published her first novel, Storms over Africa , in 1985.

The Luebbe Verlag published most of its atmospheric works for which it was inspired by the African continent.

In 2002 the writer died in Beverly Hills . Their ashes were brought to Africa.
