history

The Church of St. Marien in Bevern

The current district of Bevern was probably mentioned in a document from Bishop Otto von Münster in the 13th century as an appendix to the name of the knight Gerlacus de Beveren . The district of Bevern became its own parish in 1922 and is now located between the peasant communities of Addrup and Uptloh .
