Biagio Izzo

Biagio Izzo (born November 13, 1962 in Naples ) is an Italian actor and comedian .

Career

Izzo started out as a stage actor in Naples; from 1983 he worked as Bibi part of a comedy duo, Bibi & Cocò . In the 1990s he achieved his first successes on the regional channels Canale 9 and TeleNapoli34 . He became known nationally in the program Macao and with his appearances in the Sunday show Buona domenica .

Since the early 2000s he has starred with Massimo Boldi and Christian De Sica in the successful Natale film comedy series by director Neri Parenti: Bodyguards - Guardie del Corpo (2000), Merry Christmas (2001), Natale sul Nilo (2002), Natale in India (2003). In 2004 he appeared with Carlo Buccirosso and Ricky Tognazzi in Carlo Vanzina's film In questo mondo di ladri . He starred with Vincenzo Salemme and Mario Casagrande in 2005 in Cose da Pazzi , directed by Vincenzo Salemme.
