Bianca Gorke

Bianca Görke (born March 16, 1967 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and former member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Bianca Görke completed her vocational training as a waitress after graduating from high school in 1985 and studied sports science at the German University of Physical Culture in 1990 . In Staßfurt she was a youth worker from 1990 to 1997. Afterwards she was self-employed and worked as a manager, lecturer and tour guide.

Görke was a member of the SED from 1988 to 1989 , then was a member of the SPD from 1994 to 1996, before switching to the Left Party in 2008. She belongs to the city council of Staßfurt. On July 31, 2014, she replaced the resigned MP Angelika Klein in the state parliament and remained a MP until 2016
