bibi is a Swiss brand founded in 1938 owned by Lamprecht AG, under which baby items are manufactured in Regensdorf ( ZH ) and sold worldwide. bibi is the only Swiss Nuggi -producer and Baby Care in pacifiers and baby bottles throughout Switzerland leader.
history
Lamprecht AG was founded in 1884 by Max Bertschinger as a rubber goods factory in Zurich . In 1908 Fritz Lamprecht took over the factory, which has been family-owned ever since. The bibi brand was registered in Switzerland in 1938, followed by international registration in 1988. The company also owns the brands ceylor ( condoms ), sanor (bandages) and emosan (warm clothes).
Soothers and teats have been part of the core range since the company was founded. At first they were made exclusively from latex by punching them out of latex sheets and gluing them together. Around 1900 they were replaced by immersed, seamless suction cups. In 1986 the production of pacifiers and teats made of silicone started . In 2013 bibi celebrates its 75th anniversary.

bibi is the only Swiss soother manufacturer. All pacifiers are manufactured exclusively in Regensdorf near Zurich. In product development, bibi relies on collaboration with scientists and experts such as B. midwives, mother and lactation consultants, speech therapists, dentists, but also parents.
The Swiss production site and permanent individual controls are part of the company's quality process. According to the manufacturer, bibi babycare items are free from bisphenol A , bisphenol S , plasticizers and other harmful substances. In 2012, the bibi pacifier, along with 9 other products, was rated “very good” by the consumer magazine Öko-Test .
