Library of Arabic classics
The Library of Arabic Classics is the title of a series of books by important Arabic narrators, edited by the orientalist Gernot Rotter . The translations are by Gernot Rotter, Annemarie Schimmel , Alma Giese , Regina Günther and Hartmut Fähndrich . From 1976 to 1986, a total of ten volumes of the 15-volume series appeared in edition erdmann .
In 1988 a paperback edition was published by Goldmann Verlag under the title Library of Arabic Narrators .
