The library of the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) is primarily used for studying, teaching and research at the two locations of the university.

It is also available as a public academic library. The holdings of books, magazines and electronic publications reflect the range of subjects taught at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt . This ranges from applied social and economic sciences, communication design to technical courses such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, plastics technology, mechanical engineering and surveying technology.

Library system / catalog

In addition to the central library in the old Sanderring / Münzstrasse building, the Würzburg departmental library includes two additional sub-libraries: the Sanderheinrichsleitenweg reference library with books and journals from the IT and communication design faculties and the Röntgenring reference library with books and journals from the architecture, civil engineering, plastics technology and surveying faculties.

The Schweinfurt departmental library is housed in the ZE7 building together with the IT Service Center and includes the holdings on the subject areas of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering informatics and industrial engineering taught there. The logistics branch library is located on Campus II.
