Bidvest Namibia is a group of companies in Windhoek , Namibia .
Founded in 1989 under the name Crown National Namibia (Proprietary) Limited , it has been a completely independent company since 2009. The listing on the Namibia Stock Exchange took place on October 26, 2009. It was originally part of the South African Bidvest Group .
With a shareholding volume of 600 million Namibian dollars until trading was suspended in June 2019, it was the third largest company on the Namibia Stock Exchange .
Bidvest Namibia is divided into the areas BidCom and BidFish . BidCom bundles the areas of logistics , transport, food (except fish), services (especially in the tourism area ) and industrial products. BidFish bundles all fishing and fish processing companies .
