from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bielefelder Berg is a popular name for the Teutoburg Forest in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Bielefeld . As a rule, however, this only refers to the mountain pass on which the Bundesautobahn 2 crosses the mountains between the 268.1  m high Eisgrundsberg and the 320.4  m high Berg Auf dem Polle and between the Bielefeld-Süd (formerly Bielefeld-Sennestadt ) junctions. and Bielefeld-Ost (formerly Bielefeld-Zentrum ) at about 219  m above sea level. NHN pass summit crossed. About 360 m northeast of this point near Lämershagen there is a bridge on state road  787 (Lämershagener Strasse) at 230.3  m above the motorway.

The name Bielefelder Berg became known primarily through a rap of the same name by Bielefeld comedian Jürgen Rittershaus alias Heinz Flottmann and through a speed monitoring system on the A 2 that was put into operation in 2008. It also went through the national press several times because it brings in fines in the millions every year .
