Big Bang Mini is a shoot 'em up developed by Arkedo Studio and published for the Nintendo DS by SouthPeak Games . It was released in North America on January 21, 2009, while it was released in Europe on March 6, 2009.

Gameplay

Big Bang Mini is a shoot 'em up in which the player controls a ship on the lower screen of the Nintendo DS, the touchscreen . The aim of the game is to dodge shots from enemy units in different levels and shoot down the enemy units. By tapping the ship and dragging it in one direction, the player controls the ship. In the meantime, enemy units fire at the ship. By moving the touchscreen upwards, the ship shoots projectiles onto the upper screen in the direction shown. A defeated enemy leaves stars that the player can pick up. If the projectile hits no opponent, the projectile goes off in fireworks, the sparks of which the player must now avoid. The player can use skills through various movements on the touchscreen. Fast horizontal movement creates a shield, while fast vertical movement stops time in the game. A level is completed when the player has collected a certain number of stars.

development

The game's soundtrack consists of newly composed music.

In January 2009, a demo for Big Bang Mini was released , which could be downloaded to the Nintendo DS via the Nintendo Channel on the Wii .
