Bikram Keshari Deodorant
Bikram Keshari "BK" Deo (* 1952 in Bhabanipatna , Orissa ; † October 7, 2009 ibid) was an Indian politician .
biography
Deo came from a noble family from the princely state of Kalahandi . He began his political career when he was elected member of the State Assembly of Orissa State as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1985 . He was a member of this until 1995 and was most recently chairman of the BJP parliamentary group from 1990 to 1995. In March 1998 he became a member of the lower house of the Indian Parliament ( Lok Sabha ) and was there during the 12th to 14th legislative period until May 2009, representing the interests of the BJP.
Deo died of a heart attack in his hometown of Bhabanipatna.
