Main station , station building The main station , which opened in 1886, had a station building in the middle between the tracks, which was built in spa architecture in a similar style to the Warnemünde station that opened in the same year . After 1910, a baroque-style porch was added on the station forecourt. The central reception building was badly damaged in the Second World War, but its external appearance was largely retained until 2000. When the station was renovated in the early 2000s, large parts of the building were removed and the station building was subsequently removed from the list of monuments. |
