Picture book prize piggyback
The picture book prize piggyback is a literary prize for picture books awarded annually by the Bremen Institute for Picture Book Research and the social preventive project Reading aloud in Families of the Fantastic Library Wetzlar . The prize was first awarded in 2016 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the project. The price is supported by the Education -Verlags network the endowed with 1,000 euros. It pays tribute to picture books that not only convince with their linguistic and graphic quality, but are also particularly suitable for emotionally empowering children as they read.
