Stina Wirsén (* 1968 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish draftsman and illustrator .

She received her training at the Konstfack Art School in Stockholm, graduating class in 1992. Since 1997 she has been chief illustrator at the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter . For the readers of Dagens Nyheter she became known for her numerous fashion illustrations , but also for caricatures and travelogues . Stina Wirsén also drew attention to herself with her children's book illustrations.

Her style is minimal but very apt. With just a few strokes of the brush or pen, she succeeds in capturing the essentials. In a radio interview she replied to the question of how quickly she could produce a drawing: "It's very quick, but many drawings also end up in the trash."

Today, Stina Wirsén is one of the most popular draftsmen in Sweden with orders for IKEA and many national and international journals and magazines. She also drew for Telia at times.
