Wayside shrine in Schneckenhofen

The wayside shrine in Schneckenhofen , a district of the municipality of Bibertal in the Swabian district of Günzburg ( Bavaria ), was built in the 19th century. The wayside shrine on the road to Kissendorf is a protected architectural monument .

It consists of a rectangular base with an inscription. Above that, four columns with a cover form a niche in which a sculpture of a Pietà stands. The wayside shrine is crowned by a stone cross.
