The Bildungswerk der Ostwestfälisch-Lippischen Wirtschaft eV (BOW) is an educational institute in the East Westphalian city of Bielefeld and was founded in 1989 on the initiative of the Economic Chambers.
Today it is the largest voluntary training association in East Westphalia-Lippe . Members are the Chamber of Crafts Ostwestfalen-Lippe zu Bielefeld , the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ostwestfalen zu Bielefeld , the IHK Lippe zu Detmold, the regional craft associations, the employers 'and entrepreneurs' associations and 20 business-related further training institutions.
The BOW educational institutions offer open seminars, company training courses and qualifications in accordance with SGB III . They employ 327 full-time and 767 part-time employees.
