Bilk is a peasantry in Wettringen in Steinfurt in North Rhine-Westphalia with about 500 residents.

There is a rifle club , the Schützenverein Bilk-Haddorf of the two farmers' associations Bilk and Haddorf, which celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2004.

The football field of FC Westfalia Bilk , the Westfalenstadion, is located directly on the Schützenstange . This club is represented by two men's teams in the leagues of the Steinfurt district.

The district of Bilk also has its own church, St. Michael. In 2005 St. Michael and St. Petronilla merged in Wettringen to form the new parish of St. Petronilla under the leadership of Pastor Christoph Backhaus. Hermann Bredenbrock, pastor emeritus of St. Michael, has been retired since then, he died in February 2009. The parish also includes the Franz-von-Assisi-Haus and a library. Church groups are the Catholic women's community in Germany , the youth group , the children's choir "Michaelspatzen" and the crawling group .

In Bilk the Steinfurter Aa flows into the Vechte .
