Bill Lynn
Bill Rueda Lynn (born March 17, 1933 in Bogotá , Colombia , † January 5, 2006 in Villa de Leyva , Colombia) was a Colombian drummer . He was Elvis Presley's drummer for five years .
Life
Born in Colombia and raised in the USA , Lynn played the drums in It's now or never ( 1960 ) by Elvis Presley. Presley gave him a gold record in gratitude . Lynn last owned the Legends and Superstars bar in Bogotá, which he adorned with Elvis photos and autographs . He was friends with Elvis Presley until his death in 1977 .
Lynn died of a lung disease.
