After completing the prototype, Payne contacted several game publishers through a broker and Israel, Abe Mor, and his daughter, Inbar Lushi. The German Zoch Verlag finally launched the game in 2001.

On the basis of Villa Paletti , he also developed a larger version of the game, the Palazzo Paletti , which is based on the same game principle. According to his own statements, he developed further prototypes that have not yet been published.
