The Zoch Verlag is a publisher for board games. His main focus is on physical games of skill made of wood - or with a high proportion of wood - for children and families. In addition, he leads games in which the tactical skills of the players are required.

The publishing house was founded in 1987 by managing director Albrecht Werstein and game designer Klaus Zoch . When the company was founded, the first game was released: the Bausack . In 2002, Hermann Hutter joined the company as a new partner, mainly for sales.

The publisher has received many prizes, including the Swiss Games Prize , the spiel gut award in many cases, and the German Games Prize awarded by the gaming audience .

On February 1, 2010 the publishing house was taken over by the Simba Dickie Group , but continued as a brand. In 2015 it was assigned to the Simba-Dickie brand Noris-Spiele and has been managed from Fürth ever since . The Noris-Spiele brand was transferred to Simba Toys GmbH & Co. KG in 2019.
