MinD game tip
The MinD game tip was a game award from the highly talented club Mensa in Deutschland e. V. (MinD), which was issued between 2010 and 2014. It was discontinued because the MinD game award was split into two categories from the award ceremony in 2015.
criteria
Awarded the MinD games do have - in contrast to MinD Games Price predominantly - board games with no high profile, which therefore have little chance of winning a large-scale vote had. The games were not allowed to be pure knowledge, games of chance or children's games. Special attention was paid to intellectual demands, the challenge of strategic and combinatorial thinking and quick comprehension, as well as high entertainment value. Easily or exemplarily explained complex sets of rules were desired. The publication period was essentially not restricted. The games had to be included in the current publishing program.
Election mode
The jury consisted of six members from Mensa in Deutschland e. V., who often play board and card games for work or in their free time. Each member suggested a game and then made a personal judgment of the other nominees. Then each juror awarded points in various differently weighted categories such as fun, ambition, versatility, rules and equipment. The game that received the most counters was awarded the MinD game tip.
