Antoine Bauza (born August 25, 1978 ) is a French comic and games author .

Life

He first studied chemistry and computer science, and then at the et Ecole Nationale du Jeu des Médias Interactifs Numériques (ENJMIN) game design . Many of his games have won prestigious awards, including 7 Wonders ( Kennerspiel des Jahres 2011, Deutscher Spielepreis 2011), Takenoko ( As d'Or - Jeu de l'Année 2012) and Hanabi ( Game of the Year 2013). He has published other games together with Ludovic Maublanc , Serge Laget , Bruno Faidutti and Bruno Cathala .

For the comic album L'encre du passé (ink black of the past), which was released in 2009 by Dupuis in the series "Aire libre" ( ISBN 978-2-8001-4380-4 ), Bauza has the scenario, that is, text and Plot, contributed.

His colleague Cathala names Bauza as the only French game designer he knows who can actually live from the income from this profession.
