Billie the Vision and the Dancers is an indie pop group from Malmö . The seven-piece band combines acoustic indie pop with folk elements.
history
Billie the Vision and the Dancers were founded in 2004 by Lars Lindquist. The debut album was nominated for the Swedish music award "Manifest". Like the three successors, it was released on the band's own label "Love Will Pay the Bills". The World According to Pablo was released in 2005. All albums were offered for free download by the band and together (August 2008) have been downloaded over a million times. In addition to numerous appearances in Sweden, the band has also played a few concerts in Norway, England, Italy, Spain and Germany. The song Summercat was used in Spain for a beer advertisement and then reached number 2 in the Spanish singles charts.
