Billingsfors IK is a Swedish football club from Billingsfors . The club is best known for being last in the Allsvenskan all-time table . As the only first division team in the history of the league, the club is without a win. The team currently plays in the eight-class Division 6 .

Billingsfors IK was founded on May 26, 1906. In 1928 the team rose to the third division for the first time, but had to accept direct relegation. They returned in 1931 and, as the undisputed champion, even made it through to the second division perfectly. Here, too, the team knew how to convince and took third place in the Västra relay at the end of the first second division season . In the following years the club was able to establish itself in the second division. In 1936 the team won the season, but failed in the promotion games to Allsvenskan in a third playoff game to Malmö FF . In the following years things went downhill and Billingfors IK found themselves in a relegation battle. In 1940 they occupied the last non-relegation place with two points ahead of Jonsereds IF .
1943 succeeded Billingfors IK again a fourth place in the table, a year later the club was again the season winner. However, the team failed again in the promotion games. This time Landskrona BoIS prevailed with 2: 5 and 0: 1 wins. In 1946 the relay win could be repeated and revenge on the first division relegated Landskrona for the defeat two years earlier. In a necessary play-off, the club from Billingfors prevailed and rose to the Allsvenskan.
However, the first division season turned into a debacle for Billingfors IK. During the entire season, the team remained without a win, only three draws could be fought over the course of the season. With three points, this meant the worst performance of a team in the Swedish elite series. Also in the second division Billingfors IK found himself directly in the relegation battle. However, the class was held by two points ahead of Husqvarna IF . In 1949 the team only finished last in the table and was even passed through to fourth division the following year.
In 1953 Billingfors IK managed to return to the third division and, as runner-up behind Karlstads BIK, barely missed the march into the second division. The team sat down in the front part of the table, but the promotion to Division 2 was only successful at the end of the 1959 season. The club found itself in a relegation battle and had to leave the league again in 1962. In the following years the team developed the image of an elevator team . The direct resurgence was followed by relegation to the fourth division within two years. In 1968 it even went to the fifth division, but the team managed to get promoted again immediately. Until 1975 Billingfors IK could hold the class in the fourth division, but then only occupied eleventh place and had to relegate back to the fifth division. For a short time, 1977 managed to return to the fourth division, but subsequently the club said goodbye to the higher-class Swedish football.
The 2007 season ended in debacle for Billingfors IK, without winning a point and with 8: 128 goals, the team was bottom of the table in Division 5 Dalsland and was relegated to the eighth division.
