Billingsfors is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of County of Västra Götaland and the historical province of Dalsland . He belongs to the municipality of Bengtsfors .

The place is on the western shore of the lake Laxsjön about five kilometers south of the main town of the municipality. The roads länsveg 164 and 172 run through the village. Billingsfors is on the Mellerud – Arvika railway line . Today the route is used as a tourist attraction, as a historic railcar runs between Mellerud and Bengtsfors in the summer months.

A sad celebrity is the Billingsfors IK football club , which is last in the Allsvenskan all-time table .
