Franz von Kober

Franz Kober , from 1877 von Kober , (born March 6, 1821 in Warthausen ; † January 28, 1897 in Tübingen ) was a German Catholic theologian, priest and professor of Catholic theology at the University of Tübingen .

Life

Franz Kober attended the Latin school in Biberach from 1832 to 1836 and the upper secondary school in Ehingen from 1836 to 1840. From 1840 to 1844 he studied philosophy and theology in Tübingen. He was ordained a priest in 1845 and became vicar in Ulm . In 1853 he received a call as an associate professor at the University of Tübingen and in 1857 he became a full professor for Catholic canon law. In 1877 he graduated as Dr. theol.

Honors

1877 Franz Kober was of the Knight's Cross First Class Order of the Württemberg Crown excellent, which with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement ) was associated.
