BIM4you (until 2013 ALLbudget) is a commercial construction software that is developed and sold by the company BIB GmbH. The software is used by BIB GmbH and its customers to plan and calculate construction projects. The software accompanies the construction project from tendering to invoicing ( AVA ).
history
In January 1994 BIB GmbH started developing ALLbudget. The first version was presented at CeBIT 1995 under the then name BT-Control . In 1998 BT-Control was renamed ALLbudget . At that time the data was managed with dBASE ; From version 10 onwards there has been a changeover to an SQL -based database. Since 2008 ALLbudget has been marketed by BRZ Germany under the name Sf-Bau . As of 2010, ALLbudget will support the IFC format. A web interface has been added since 2011 to enable use on mobile devices ( tablet computers ). The manufacturing company BIB GmbH has been a sponsoring member of BuildingSMART eV since 2012
In 2014 the software was renamed Bim4you .
Functions
The functions include keeping construction logs , project management , quality assurance and the management of defects. The software also has an address database, can create documentation of communication processes and has working time recording.
Bim4you can imported from IFC files for 3D models by means of quantities calculate the costs, so it can with building information modeling ( BIM deal).
There are two operating modes for using Bim4you:
- Client-server model as well
- Installation on a single computer.

Bim4you is used by construction companies and architects to plan and carry out their construction projects. It is used as an ERP system at Interboden , among others . As part of a research project at the TU Dresden , components with RFID chips were recorded with the help of ALLbudget. According to the manufacturer, around 3,000 companies across Germany use Bim4you.
